“After reviewing the works of countless carvers, we repeatedly found ourselves concluding that Allen's carvings were the most realistic. We contacted Allen by phone, and agreed to commission two pieces. As you can imagine, there was initially a bit of trepidation because we had not met Allen personally. However, Allen assured us that he had no doubt we would be extremely satisfied with his work. Quite simply, Allen was way too modest! My wife and I are way more than extremely satisfied with his work. His carvings are incredibly beautiful and are the highlight of our home. Our guests cannot believe that they are carved from wood until I show them the many pictures Allen sent us documenting the process. One of our guests was willing to bet me $100 that one of the birds was actually stuffed and the work of a taxidermist.
