Allen exhibited his work at the 35th annual Waterfowl Festival, the nation’s premier wildlife art and sportsman’s expo in Easton, MD, 2005. His carvings were on display at the Choptank Carving Gallery. This was Allen’s third year exhibiting at the Waterfowl Festival. He donated a full-body ruddy duck drake to the Waterfowl Festival Cocktail Decoy Auction in support of the scholarship fund.
